Established in 2000, the Sacramento Triathlon Club (STC) is the oldest and largest USA Triathlon
member team in the Sacramento area. Our membership spans a broad range of triathletes, from Hawaii Ironman competitors to first time beginners. STC has grown to over 200 members each year and draws in women and men of all ages and abilities. STC hosts group workouts, occasional clinics/seminars and hosts many social events every year. The group bike rides explore all areas surrounding the greater Sacramento area from Davis to Auburn and Tahoe. Runs and swim workouts are more local; open water swim workouts are also available at our local
lakes and rivers. STC’s athletes participate in numerous local races including USAT sanctioned races as
well as large races, with Ironman Sacramento Santa Rosa and Ironman Santa Cruz 70.3 being the
most popular races for the past few years. We also have many members that participate in Ironman
events all around the country and abroad. STC provides a fun and friendly environment for learning
and experiencing the sport of triathlon in the Sacramento area.
